Definition and types of components of the charging and cooling system
A petrol turbocharger uses exhaust gases to drive an impeller that compresses air within the engine, increasing its efficiency. Air conditioning compressors, such as the BMW E90 air conditioning compressor or the Golf 5 air conditioning compressor, are responsible for compressing the refrigerant in the air conditioning system. BMW E60 air conditioning condensers function as a heat exchanger, lowering the refrigerant's temperature before it circulates through the system.
